|Unoccupied Property||Policy numbers starting CH, CR, CS, FE, FK and GP issued or quoted up to 30/04/2020:|
|If the insured property has not been lived in for more than 60 consecutive days as a direct result of Coronavirus (for example, due to enforced quarantine, travel restrictions, cancellations or self-isolation) the insured will remain fully covered until it is safe for them to return. There is no need to inform us.|
|Policy numbers starting CR and CS quoted and issued after 01/05/2020:|
|For all new Second Home and Residential Landlord business after 01/05/20, our usual policy terms and conditions have been reinstated to the Unoccupied definition. This does NOT affect policies beginning with CH, FE, FK and GP.|
|Cherish Home||No specific cover for illness or disease.|
|Cherish Home B&B||No specific cover for illness or disease.|
|Cherish Residential Landlord||No specific cover for illness or disease.|
|Cherish Second Home - Family & Friends||No specific cover for illness or disease.|
|Cherish Second Home - Family, Friends & Paying Guests||There is cover for Loss of hiring charges and Alternative accommodation up to 20% of the buildings sum insured, or 20% of the contents sum insured if buildings not insured, as a result of notifiable disease, but this must occur at the insured home. Our view is that there are only very limited circumstances in which this cover may operate in the current outbreak.|
Cherish does not hold claims-settling authority, so the final settlement or repudiation of claims will be made by AXA. The above information is therefore provided as guidance only.
